“I started as an administrative assistant — supporting directors, coordinating schedules, handling documentation, making sure things moved. I worked across different organisations and industries, learning how teams function behind the scenes.
And then I noticed something: When I began working closely with member-based and nonprofit organisations, I saw a recurring pattern. These organisations were full of purpose, passion, and vision — but behind the scenes, operations were stretched thin. Leadership didn’t lack ideas. They lacked time. They lacked structure. They lacked dedicated operational expertise.
The problem was never ambition. It was infrastructure.
That’s when I became deeply interested in project management systems and workflow tools. I didn’t just learn them — I became slightly obsessed with what they could unlock. I saw how the right structure could transform communication, board coordination, reporting, budgeting, campaigns, and team alignment.
And that’s why I founded TIDE Operations.
TIDE was created to give growing startups the operational backbone they often don’t have the time or internal capacity to build.
